I have been Using Sketchup professionally for a year now and have a considerable amount of experience with it.

However I have been stumped by a plugin that just won't install.

The plugin is a Helioscope plugin and after i install it(no errors occur during installation) when I reopen Sketchup all I get is an error saying there is no such file to load.

This is not my first time installing plugins so I tried to pinpoint the problem and had no luck, when speaking to one of the Founders he was totally confused because the same file loaded quite fine on his comparable machine.

Anything you think I should try would be appreciated.

      Thanks

Without the error message we can't be sure what's up.
I don't think that 'Helioscope' is from here [SCF] πŸ˜•
Where did you get it from ?
Did it come archived with any support files that are needed to be put into the Plugins folder, or more usually into a subfolder that is specific to the tool [or its author] 0 also located inside the Plugins folder.
Is the error relating to one of these files ?
Did the tool's notes recommend that you install some other files, which you need to obtain and install from elsewhere - e.g. progressbar.rb ??
Have you tried contacting the tool's author directly ???

Posting the details of the script and its errors would be a useful starting point... πŸ˜’

Helioscope is a Production analyzer for Photovoltaic models.

This is simply a plugin to allow me to send my Sketchup models directly to the cloud based program. So that it can analyze the shaded regions and give me a production value base on KWh.

I have Tried contacting them but they have not been able to figure out my problem and it seems to only have been a problem for me.

As far as other files that need to be installed, it is only the one .RBZ file that needs to be installed.

          Hope this helps.

This is the error message from when I reopen Sketchup

This is the location of the plugin

The subfolder created by the plugin upon installation

Try the latest version of Thomthom's "Simple Plugins Installer", and after you've installed that and restarted Sketchup, you can try to reinstall the RBZ archive using it, rather than the native-installer [which I assume you have used initially]...
It should spot some permission/VirtualStore issues that the native-installer might miss...

It might still be an 'security/permissions' issue...
Have you checked this, as I suggested previously ?
The Plugins folder's security/permissions needs to be FULL for you [and All] and its contents/subfolders...
