Trying the demo of Maxwell, but the image can't be saved.
      No filetype can be chosen:

And trying to save anyway, it says "specified directory does not exist" (tried many different ones):

Anyone had this problem? Did a search and nothing came up; and the Maxwell forum is not very active.
Sorry if this is not the place to ask.

      Windows 7, 64 bit.
      Maxwell v. 2.7.22

You have to give it a file extension (".png", ".jpg", etc.).

        Best,
        Jason.

I create video tutorial series about several 2D & 3D graphics programs.

As well as specifying an image file-type [e.g. .png]... there's another major problem 😮

You have a non-ASCII UTF-8 character in your user-name, which is then used in the file-path to your Desktop...
This means that any part of a Sketchup Ruby tool that's checking for the existence of a folder or file will fail, simply because that version of Ruby can't process these characters [it's ASCII only I'm afraid!].

This kind of error will occur in many Ruby-based tools should you choose your destination folder in a path containing any non-standard characters. Also never use non-standard characters in such file-names.
Sorry... but you need to choose alternative 'clean' paths, OR change your user-name from 'Asbjørn' to 'Asbjorn'.

Hopefully the next major update of the API will upgrade to a newer version of Ruby that is UTF-8 compliant in its 'File' operations...

Whoah, I had no idea. It is indeed the letter Ø causing the problem. 😲
            Thank you very much.
