Is there a way to change the font of all 3D text in a model at once ?

No. The only way to change the font on 3D Text is to replace it with a new component. If you have more than one in your model, you'll have to replace each component in turn.

I got a plugin coming up that will allow you to edit 3d text. (Just need to resolve some OSX issues)
But it will only let you edit 3d text created with the plugin. Anything created with the native 3d text tool is not editable.

Nice one, TT. Could there be an option for poly-resolution? I mean (very rarely though) sometimes I would need some higher resolution curves in the 3D text.
Also, I would love to have the option to use some other extrusion methods than just the simple PushPull like one we currently have. Engraved text with a V or U shape engraving...

Unfortunatly no - it's using the Ruby API and the highest quality setting - which is the same as the native tool So I can't get it any higher.
...hmm... unless, say I first generated only the un-extruded version, then applied some curve smoothing to it, maybe Fredo has some tricks there. Not sure how well it'd work...

Interesting. Though it'll be for later release. Right now I'm battling a swarm of OSX problems with this plugins. "It just works" my shiny metal rear end!!

I could use better resolution in 3D texte !!!
How can i easily unzip .rb script with my mac and can't with my PC ... Joint push pull for instance ??? Just cant do it using window 7.

What do you mean by this? What is it that you are seeing that makes you think the resolution isn't high enough?

Get and install 7Zip and use it to extract zipped plugins on your PC. Make sure before you do it that you have established full administrative rights for the Plugins folder. It isn't enough to be administrator on your computer.

When I launch Thomas Thomassen's editable text tool, it pops up on the left monitor instead of the right one where I typically run SU. Can this be remedied? I have TT's library version 2.12.3.
And can it be improved so we can immediately start typing into it without first having to deal with the default string of text that reads "Enter text"? (Or have said text pre-selected like the native tool does?)
