      Hi

Does anybody know a way to change a projected texture into a projecting texture?
I come across this issue a lot... for example, I project a texture on to a face, later I change my mind and paint a different texture on to it. Somehow though, this face remembers its projected UV coordinates. meaning that if I try to make this new texture a projecting texture to project onto a different face, it distorts unrecognizably, and positioning is locked...

Try repainting the face with the 'default material' as an intermediate step, this should wipe the projection/uv-mapping and you can start again...
