Here we go again with the hat thing!
-
Wow! Has it really been over six months since I harassed you all about a SketchUcation hat? Time flies. Well here I am again, wondering how I can obtain one. There is a perpetually empty space in my hat rack where I would park it IF I HAD ONE! Sorry, I haven't lost my enthusiasm for the idea of HAVING ONE!.
The esteem with which I will be held in my little village will be very high when everyone sees "my" SketchUcation hat. And believe me, I need all of the esteem I can get to balance the other stuff.
Any assistance anyone can render in helping me obtain a SketchUcation hat will be greatly appreciated. I wont mention that I just became a premium member because I wouldn't want you to think I was trying to get special treatment or anything like that, no no.

Ouch!
Looks like there's no room there for the Sketchucation hoodies, Tshirts, Polo Shirts and USB Sticks...
I'll ask Mike if he has any hats left.

Up close

Thank you all for the responses, but as you can tell, I am still without hat. It is clear that there is SketchUcation merchandise, but not where this merchandise resides. Is there a secret password? Is it because I'm funny looking? Am I on the wrong forum? So many questions and so little hat. I think the SketchUcation sticker is a great idea, especially if it would fit on a hat. I might get a shirt IF I COULD GET A HAT. No offense intended, but is the Bowler really a hat? I thought it has something to do with banks.
Does not anyone know how to get this hat problem resolved???
I await your clever, insightful, humorous, informative replies.

Post Script: I'm sorry that this isn't a more technical and 3D issue, but if I actually obtain a SketchUp hat, my models will improve, not to mention my reputation.
Post Post Script: Rich what did Mike say??? -
I have some spare hat(s?). Send your posting details in a PM and I'll see what I can do (although walking to the post office takes at least 5 minutes longer than walking to my local corner bar).
It's an old hat though (not used but old in that it was made to celebrate the 50,000 membership two years ago - now we are over 150,000; would you mind a hat like that?)
-
Just putting it out there. But I would buy 2 of each hoodies, polos, T shirts
If they were available. And you had them in 2XX or bigger. -
Gaieus, Thank you for the offer. Mike has succumbed to my whining and is sending me an old one that he has. I told him that all of my hats are "a little used" so it will fit right in. I will tell my neighbors that I had it all along but was keeping it a secret so they would not feel left out. Well...I can't protect them forever, so they will just have to get over it!
This is going to add a lot of credibility to my telling every person who will stand still about SketchUp since I don't carry my desktop computer around with me to demonstrate.
Thank you again for the offer and Mike for solving this dilemma.
From the responses it appears that you guys could sell a truck load of stuff with the Sketch Up and Ucation names on it. Just think of 150,000 SketchUcation things walking around in the world... One million members here we come!

All right, mine if full of cat hair anyway (for some mysterious reason, the cats love sleeping on it)
-
Surely because it's a real pussy-magnet?
-
No, that's my dog. No wonder I keep walking her all the time.
-
..... BTW, Csaba has a three legged dog!

I am now the ecstatic owner of a genuine SketchUcation hat. Mr. Lucey (Mike to you) succumbed to my constant whining and in self defense, sent me one of his. (Not the only one I hope).
It fits me perfectly, but for some reason I had to move the nail to hang it on (see the photo at the beginning of this thread) so that my front door would open...very strange. Everyone in my village is appropriately impressed but they keep making remarks about large hats...very strange.
Thank you again Mike

Post Script: I look forward to the day when I can pull down the "Shop" menu and see "Lots of cool SketchUcation stuff you can wear", no wait...that's too long, how about "Cool Stuff"?

Someone has a big head.
-
Hmmmm. That would explain a lot.
