      Hi,
      I would like to include a big hole in my component (city)
      erase city inside the hole but leave city just around it
      like if a worm made it
      I have booltools but I dont know how to use it
      can you help me ?

        Is the city one big component or are there a lot of smaller components?

          some small ones, and inside one small component there are some smaller buildings which are components to

            For numereous reasons, I think your only option is to copy the city and explode all components and sub-components. Intersect that with the cylinder, remove all unwanted geometry and make that into a component.

            Nothing is worthless, it can always be used as a bad example.

              You can follow these steps:

              • put the cylinder in the right position
              • select all components which are touched by it (parallel top view)
              • group them, explode all in that group (colored in the example, just to clarify)
              • use booltools with the new group and the group with the cylinder
              • delete remaining components and add hole
