Mirror plugin

Can anyone help me in understanding the mirror plugin? I can't figure out how to precisely place the mirrored selection. I can't seem to find a good tutorial online or with the plugin.

Which mirrored plugin are you referring to? do you have a link to it?

You have to think "I will draw the mirror as a rectangle" and after the first two lines (which are enough for defining the mirror plane) it happens...
