      Hi,
I did rectangle, draw a line to split it into to pieces.
If I select a line at one side and move it, just one face is following.
Is there any chance to move the whole rectangle in picking that one line.

      Thanks for any help
      Stephan

If I understand you correctly: double click on the figure select Move tool pick that line.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

Or if it is not a single face (already split into two faces), triple click to select all connected geometry (edges and faces) - then move them together.

OR place these faces inside a new group or component-instance and move that when outside of its 'edit' mode... Everything will move with the group/instance...

But the typical workflow is to first select what you want to move, then move it. Quite often you would not want the move tool to move everything connected all at once.

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.
