      Hi everyone,

I recently updated to OS Mountain Lion, and since then, SketchUp has been crashing a lot. (I'm working on a 50-55MB model.) I have an iMac with 1 TB of memory and 8GB RAM. Has anyone else had this issue?

      Thanks in advance,
      Avraham

Your information is at the least 'scant'...
        How is it 'crashing' exactly?
Tell us the lead up, the tools used, the results/expected-results, the nature of the freeze/crash/error etc, any error messages etc.
Why is the file so large?
What's making it so big? Geometry, images, large textures etc ?
Have you considered 'Purging Unused' on it to reduce its size or using the 'Fix Issues' Model-info options...

Sorry. I should have provided more info. I have a large city model that I'm working on. I have layers, I'm purging unused, and I'm keeping texture sizes down. There is a lot of texture however, and the model is quite large. When SketchUp crashes, an error message comes up that says: "SketchUp has crashed unexpectedly. See report for more details." The reason the file is so large is probably geometry.

          Thanks,
          Avraham
