The above video is how the character became a sketchup model and autorigged using Mixamos online autorigger, the trick here is keep the model below 10k and you can download the character with its rigg in any format. Center animation is obvously sketchup and left and right animations are done in mixamo. -

This intire enviroment was completely created in sketchup, it had a toon texture look and feel to it but didnt import into unity via an FBX file, so the texture applied is just temp, will be trying this out using an OBJ.fIle instead and fingers crossed -
If you tried Archania's ingame spaceship demonstration and found it impressive as i did you will find a major updated version on his website at the top of his page here http://archaniaworkshop.com/blog/
Update includes more detail added to the ship created by me in sketchup and he has added a sun and a planet to the scene, again all this is WIP but in my opinion its impressive so far, Scott who is developing this for a bigger project is at home on his couch suffering from a cracked tooth and his face is out like a chipmonk, get well soon bud

Awesome
one day, maybe after basecamp when I have a life again and dont constantly work it would be good to do something together or you can just take something from my back catalogue and make it fly for my own amusement etc. I have done 60 hours of freelance this week on top of my real job
I would really like my claptrap to move about you can have that model if you can do something with it: http://www.behance.net/gallery/CLAPTRAPS-WORK-IN-PROGRESS/4865821
It needs a bit of cleaning up but it pretty useable.

Very Very cool.
It's got a Mario 64 feel about it which is never a bad thing.

Thanks Robert, the current webplayer is just for testing assets and character animations, the game itself is a more simplified version so it can be played both on webplayer and mobile devices, it had being discussed to make a Mario 64 type platformer but it was agreed to be too large of a project to undertake so we decided if the game does well on mobile divices then a platformer would be seriously considered
