      Hello.

It is my first message. I'm spanish, then sorry for my english πŸ˜„ I have two doubts:

Are there any way to know the dimensions of a component or group? Withouth to use the measuring tool (T), some times doesn't works (specially with downloaded 3d objects).

      How do you align this?

Components and groups haven't inference lines?

      Thanks.

This tool http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=370385#p370385 will add guide-points around the object's 'bounds'. You can then use those to measure/align the objects, useful if they are made of odd shapes...

Thanks so much TIG πŸ˜„ Very useful.

          One more thing...

With this plugin, I can't align center groups/components.

See my screenshot. How can I to align the cilinders group just in center of the rectangle, without drawing anything inside the group (like a line between the cilinders)?

            No screen-shot ?

There are some 'Align' tools available - look in the 'Plugins Index'.

However, drawing some temporary lines outside*** of the group/component objects between appropriate guide-points, and then selecting those with the objects to be moved you can snap mid-point to mid-point etc to align them in various combinations...
Simply erase the temporary lines after they are no longer needed.
*** If these lines are needed frequently you could consider placing them inside an object's container to simplify selection...

              Hi folks.

With some simple geometry, it can be done with native tools.

Click in sequence on the scenes tabs of this SU file for ideas:
