The Style you are using has Backfaces checked - this will show all obscured edges as 'dotted'.
To select/edit edges through faces use Xray mode.
A few faces a 'backwards' - showing blue not white - context-menu Reverse to fix this.
The butt end is missing draw a line across to form it - erase the internal face that forms unless you really want it...
It looks to me like you've only modeled half of it - ?
If so and it is symmetrical select all of its geometry and make a component of it.
Use Move+Ctrl to copy it upwards and Scale vertically -1 to mirror it, Move down into place...
Subsequent changes to one half will me replicated in the other as you work...
If the two halves are not quite then same using two components is still a quick way to form the other half... Just use context-menu 'Make Unique' on it, so then subsequent changes to one half no longer affects the other...
Incidentally your axes are inverted - the solid blue/Z line should be 'up'.
That might be confusing the extrusion too...
Tip: When PushPulling you can force a face to stay behind by using the Ctrl key as you do it...

          Hi lockdown224, hi folks.

Your blue axis is upside down. The dotted part should be pointing downward.

          Just ideas.
