Is there a Plugin to see and change properties of an object

Hi guys,
Is there any plugin to see and change the location, dimension, scale may be color of an object and to change it?
It would be very nice to have it to turn sketchup into solidworks 3dmax or like those programs...Please inform me. Because if there is no one I can try to write one.

If you want a program like Solidworks or 3DMax, why don't you use one of them?
Get the pro version of SketchUp and use Dynamic Components.

I already can use those
however sketchup is much more faster and practical program therefore I want to combine the perfect sides of those 2 program Solidworks and Sketchup -
Oh dear, some people just don't see it do they? SU is faster and more practical because it isn't overloaded with all those niceties of 3DMax and Solidworks...

I just need simple information box to get and set properties of an object. It doesn't use system resources much as you think

Which properties do you think of?

The native 'Entity Info' changes the material[s]/layer/hidden-status and for edges soft/smooth-settings too.
It reports areas for faces and volumes for 'solid' objects...
For text etc you can edit related settings in there too...
For groups/components you can edit 'names'.
The move/rotate/scale etc is done more easily within the model itself...
