Understanding Sketchup
-
Hi,
Before using Sketchup for architectural works I would like to understand something about modification of a componant.
For example, if I create a vase using the "Follow Me" tool, is it possible to modify the curves of it after ?
The example is simple and the answer could be : "Just draw another one" but I'm thinking about more complex objects.
If not how peple do to "adjust" their creation ?
Thx. -
You can scale, rotate and move loops, edges and faces afterwards but it can be a destructive result unless properly planned.
SketchUp is not like a NURBS package but there are plugins , Artisan and FFD , that allow further tweaks with better control.
If I had a simple vase that needed tweaking then the scale tool would best best to increase/decrease size.

If you use a plugin like profile builder, then you'll be able to edit follow me paths afterwards.
