I have a wall which needs to be visible from one side, but translucent from the back side. I have set the material for the back side to an opacity of 0, but I can still see the edges of the wall. Is there any way to eliminate them as well?

No, unless you don't want to see the edges from the opaque side. Edges don't have a front/back side like faces so materials that are applied to edges affect the edges regardless of view direction. You can hide edges as well as paint them. Painted edges must be enabled under the Styles palette.

        Unless I'm misunderstanding your post?

You understood perfectly and answered my question and more. Thank you. I'll do without seeing the edges from the visible side.

Hidden lines can be set in a scene. Normally you export views from scenes. Save a scene from one side with the lines showing, and save a scene from the other side with the lines hidden.
