      Hi guys

probably not really applicable to this forum but I need to get some stock images to populate my scenes, I have found trees and people etc but am looking for something more niche ie a reed bed to go next to a lake, does anyone know any good sites to purchase image stocks such as these? I have had no luck google searching.

      Thanks

If you are willing to pay, then go to http://www.shutterstock.com $19 for a high res image isnt bad.

I would say that your $0 solution is http://www.google.com/imghp

Also, you can try http://www.cgtextures.com/ Awesome site with great stuff for free

This site has really good pre-cut stuff for purchase http://www.realworldimagery.com/

Also, try Turbosquid and search "2d plants" or something like that. A long time ago I was able to get a huge collection of plants, trees, and flowers (over 400 images) for less that $100. That collection is not on there anymore but there must be others. http://www.turbosquid.com/

thanks for the reply valero, what I'm looking for is kind of bespoke so if I gotta pay I gotta pay, will be absorbed within the fee, using google images for free is too risky what with copyright and what not
