Hello I was wondering if anyone could help me out with an animation question. I have a complex model with multiple components. I would like to create an animation that zooms to a certain view, shows a component being moved, then zooms out and away, then to another view where another component is moved, and so on and so on.

Is this possible in non-Pro Sketch up? Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if i need to explain this better. Thanks!

      Chris

You should be able to do that in plain vanilla SU, but it's going to require quite a few scenes to be set up. If you want to make it a little easier on yourself...especially if you do a lot of that kind of stuff, I'd suggest using the Keyframe Animation plugin from Regular Polygon.
I'm assuming the 3rd video down is the kind of thing you're after.

Yes it can be done in the free version, you need to install an animation plugin first, proper animation which is free but rotation animation using this will have to be done at the origin, then there is keyframe_animation which comes at a price but is very cheap considering what it can do
