Hey guys i need help. How can i create out of these two pictures one model? [xxl-img:1jrqid5z]http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/2913/phenixd.jpg[/xxl-img:1jrqid5z][xxl-img:1jrqid5z]http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/1715/phenix2.jpg[/xxl-img:1jrqid5z] I tried it first on my own and failed. Can someone do this for me ( i think someone with experience doesn't need long) or post me a link to a tutorial because i want to built this out of wood and don't want to invest so much time in 3d modelling.

      Hope someone can help me

        Hi there!

And what exactly did you fail at? Anyway, since it is basic stuff, I´d recommend you start here: http://sketchupdate.blogspot.com/2011/11/new-getting-started-videos-for-sketchup.html

        Comfortably numb...

This looks like a good exercise for learning to use SketchUp.

If you want someone to do it for you, you could perhaps hire it done. As to tutorials, you've already got an excellent link to get you started.

That's a good tip! I've been feeding my sister 'beginning SU' links for years... And even after I do her model after model, she will not invest her own time. Spend time to save time, I say, but many don't imbibe that.

I meant to say thanks for the tut link. I will pass it on.

Wow. It looks like you're doing very well and have all the understanding you need to knock the rest out in short order. If you have more specific problems or questions, post back. Details are usually enabling. Other people's deadlines are always a problem, though.
