Cheers guys!! Gee some neat ideas there....!

Here's where I got to with it:

      1. Imported hi-res watermark image into the model
      2. Fiddled with FOV settings to manipulate the model and WHA-LA!!
        montage1.jpg

That is a good process, daredevil!!

      πŸ‘ to you all; legends!!

Only problem with bringing in a hi-res image as a watermark is that the export is only as good as SU exports your viewport... not good if you want to maintain pixel size. πŸ‘Ž

I tried that but the problem is exporting a high enough image from SU.... When I exported and got rid of the background the edges were way too pixelated....

Drag it into layout with no background, convert to vector export hi res PNG from there!

Did you use anti-alias in SU?
Or didn't you use any feather selection in PS?
Or did you perhaps export as a compressed jpg? Not a good idea if you want to do any masking afterwards.

Often it is better to export a big image without AA from SU and then scale it down smoothly in PS.
What exactly are we talking about here when you say "highres"?
BTW, there's no point in importing any highres images into SU, as they will be scaled down anyway, to what OpenGL can handle on your machine (max 2048px?)

Mate I think Utiler is talking evry large images! SU can never match the output one can achieve going through the Layout option particularly if you export to PDF and then open that in Photoshop.

That's because when using zoomm in Su it isn't really zoom, but moving the camera, which changes the perspective. Change the FOV to "scale" it, and the zoom to change perspective/position.

                                Hello guys
not exactly on the topic, but i couldnt find any tool that would work this problem out. Is it possible to zoom the window somehow (actual cutout of a view)?
