    Hello,
I have recently started working with SketchUP Pro and I want to start rendering some of the things I have created. I have had lots of experience with other CAD packages in the past, but have only done some basic rendering in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, so this will be pretty much a new experience for me. I have downloaded the free version of Maxwell for SketchUP, but would like better resolution than what I can get with the free version. I'm thinking of just purchasing the $95 program, but should I be looking at other packages? From what I can see some people have done some remarkable work with this program, but is it going to be the simplest to learn, or should I be looking elsewhere? I figure I can always upgrade later if I need more, so would this be a good starting point? Thanks.

Trial all of them then make a decision on what suits you best.

There's lots of topics on the best render app but the best is usually what you enjoy the most.

I like TwiLight and Thea. Others don't....but what do they know 😉

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp
