This might be a silly question, but how do I get a white reflective surface (not chrome, just plain reflective glossy white surface)? I'm trying to render kitchen with some white cabinets that are white, glossy and reflective. I am ๐Ÿ˜•
      Thanks in advance.

          A suggestion:

When you solve a problem, no matter how basic it might be, post your solution.
Someone searching the forums for 'glossy surface' would find your post but the second entry 'I got it' wouldn't help them at all.

          Just a thought.

i feel what he want is refelctive acrylic plastic, same in lacquer and carpaint maybe. this is my common workflow with this material where the top acts like a glass refelction, and the below reflection will do the rough and blurry something. i dont know how to explain it clearly. downside long rendering time.

here is what you will do. and be sure you make the layer stack like this

Reflection layer 1 (use fresnel map.. default is ok)
Reflection Layer ( use fresnel map, but put the ref and highlight glossiness to 0.95. use 16-24 subdivision) filter Acolor white
                Diffuse layer.. white

Thanks nomeradona for the explantion. What I have done was:
                        1)created new "reflaction" layer
2)applied fresnel under BRDRFReflection - Reflection
3)hilight glossiness at 0.8 and reflection glossiness 0.85 (adjust to your likings)
                        4)under Maps checked off Reflection
                        done

set up white reflective material kitchen

work in progress with white reflective material

if you will use another fresnel reflection on top your refelction, you will see the reflection will be further enhanced.
