Well, it's about time you got to this one. Excellent work as usual. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ’š And some of that green is envy.

Great model, but the render looks off to me. Are you using AO?

              Thank you all,
Tom I've never used ambient occlusion, looked it up and here's a quick render! Not sure if I've got it correct though.

just really nice and detailed, any chance of showing a wireframe to see how detailed it really is,

also do you have a lot of components you use ? otherwise its really time consuming

thanks aadb, she looks a bit confusing in wire frame! 58 comp definitions, 3282 comp instances. She's 300ft wide ~90.5m.

                        Wonderful model/render [as ever!]

                        On a side note...
Winston Churchill [you MUST have heard of him?] was born there on 30 November 1874 at 1:30am, in a ground-floor room west of the Great Hall, in the suite of rooms once allotted to the 1st Dukeโ€™s domestic Chaplain [I've been in the very room].
The famous John Churchill [1st Duke of Marlborough] was a distant relative - Winston was by then a distant cousin of the 9th Duke...
The Place and grounds was paid for and given to John by 'a grateful nation' - following John's military successes, latterly against the French - and especially at the Battle of Blenheim [1704]: The plaque above the East Gate of the Palace says, "Under the auspices of a munificent sovereign this house was built for John Duke of Marlborough, and his Duchess Sarah, by Sir J Vanbrugh between the years 1705 and 1722, and the Royal Manor of Woodstock, together with a grant of ยฃ240,000 towards the building of Blenheim, was given by Her Majesty Queen Anne and confirmed by act of Parliament... to the said John Duke of Marlborough and to all his issue male and female lineally descending." [palace+estate+~ยฃ25million? in today's money ! - so he WAS a very popular chap...] !

Some years later when Winston was asked whether, just before his birth, his mother Lady Randolph Churchill, had been attending a ball in the Long Library, or if she had been out with a shooting-party in the park... he replied, 'Although present on that occasion, I have no clear recollection of the events leading up to it.โ€™
                        ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

The palace and grounds [by Capability Brown] ARE a 'world heritage site' and they are well worth the visit if ever you get the chance...

I love the Model and rendering, and really enjoy hearing the history.
Churchill had a wicked sense of humour.
                          Thanks John and Tig.
