Colors problem!
-
Hi all!
I have this problem: the gradient is divided into steps which have strange colors, like there are waves and not a linear gradient.
How can I get an higher resolution in colors?
Please find in attached the scene.
thx for the help!

if it's a texture, i'd say you'd need higher bit depth (from 8 to 16 for example).
but since it's more probably a VRay setting, i'd ask you to share the settings you use for global illumination - looks like light cache is used for the primary engine. that can cause similar 'cracks.'
otherwise i'm out of ideas for now...

hi!
it is not a texture.... just plain color.
You can find the lights setting attached here http://www.serraglia.com/test/color_test.visopt.zip.
and the scene in attached down.I am using Irradiance Map and Light Cache as secondary.
GI at 0,1 with no sky, because I am using a rectangular light (subdiv 8 or 16 no difference...)This problem makes me crazy
Thx for the help!

could it be resolved by turning on or switching the type of the antialiasing filter in Image Sampler?
