      Hi all!

I have this problem: the gradient is divided into steps which have strange colors, like there are waves and not a linear gradient.

How can I get an higher resolution in colors?

Please find in attached the scene.

      thx for the help!

if it's a texture, i'd say you'd need higher bit depth (from 8 to 16 for example).

but since it's more probably a VRay setting, i'd ask you to share the settings you use for global illumination - looks like light cache is used for the primary engine. that can cause similar 'cracks.'

otherwise i'm out of ideas for now...

        I'm using SketchUp 2017, V-Ray 3.4

          hi!

it is not a texture.... just plain color.

You can find the lights setting attached here http://www.serraglia.com/test/color_test.visopt.zip.
and the scene in attached down.

I am using Irradiance Map and Light Cache as secondary.
GI at 0,1 with no sky, because I am using a rectangular light (subdiv 8 or 16 no difference...)

          This problem makes me crazy

          Thx for the help!

could it be resolved by turning on or switching the type of the antialiasing filter in Image Sampler?

            I'm using SketchUp 2017, V-Ray 3.4
