      Hi all,

I have recessed downlighters in my interior model but want to reduce the line from the scalloping effect on the walls,
well more the sharpness of the line. Can this be reduced/smoothed out in the settings?

      Ta.

If you are using IES - the answer is no. There is no way currently to tone down the sharpness of the IES light.

They are IES lights. Thanks for confirming that as I couldn't find anything that affected it.

Pull your IES light out of the recess a little and get an IES file with the right softness you are looking for. That's my trick. The other option is to put a spot light in the fixture and increase the penumbra angle.

Can you soften the edges of an Omni light?
