Just plain old straight willow sticks. You can actually twist and bend them into many shapes using hot water and a press/form. Make great interior pieces.

I'll have to look at our California willows and see if they conform. We got enough of them for decorating.

My mother made them into a spiral for an interior display in a nightclub, with help of poilshed jubilees! They can take on intense colour with dyes if you can get the stripped versions. sorry off topic.

If I give those secrets away I will not be able to make and sell new models.
These are just quick dirty samples of stuff I'm busy making like curtains, carpets, towels, cloth, draped clothing, beds, table cloths, etc. All things material and folded, draped, dropped etc.
I hope to have a decent enough collection soon, but these take time.
