nice! πŸ‘ would make my tentacle-thingy sculptures much easier with vertex tools!! Normally I would manipulate each "trunk" individually 😒

Just plain old straight willow sticks. You can actually twist and bend them into many shapes using hot water and a press/form. Make great interior pieces.

I'll have to look at our California willows and see if they conform. We got enough of them for decorating.

My mother made them into a spiral for an interior display in a nightclub, with help of poilshed jubilees! They can take on intense colour with dyes if you can get the stripped versions. sorry off topic.

                          Draped cloth over chair.

                          Proxy:

                          chair cloth proxy.jpg

                          Full divided mesh:

If you want the full mesh let me know as it's pretty heavy, but does have all UV's mapped.

If I give those secrets away I will not be able to make and sell new models. πŸ˜„

These are just quick dirty samples of stuff I'm busy making like curtains, carpets, towels, cloth, draped clothing, beds, table cloths, etc. All things material and folded, draped, dropped etc.

I hope to have a decent enough collection soon, but these take time.

How are you baking the AO?

Are you baking and replacing the whole material?
