Can anyone help me with this? I am trying to close all faces where the two roof forms meet, but my KungFu is not Strong!!

You have bits of hidden lines, faces not quite parallel etc...
I suggest you make the main gabled-roof again cleanly. and then make the 'dormer' as a simple over long gabled-roof at right-angles. Intersect all of them together. Erase what you don't want... and cut the angle to the front piece of the dormer with a temp face...
Trying to work with everything you've made is very awkward as you have so many hidden glitches etc...

Thanks! I will do as you suggest! Makes perfect sense and should work intersecting two roofs first then cleaning up....
