      Hi.

Im looking for a way to fill in deleted vertices from a terrain model (see illustration/pictures) Some vertices have been deleted in the terrain model and Im thinking something like soapskinbubble to fill it up again.
This works somewhat, but leaves a bunch of error messages when trying to use Artisan 2 to smooth or subdivide. Hope you get the idea of what I`m looking for. β˜€

Deleted vertices needs to be filled in

Using soapskinbubble plugin, exploding the group, and using TT cleanup. looks ok.

Error msg trying to use Artisan for smoothing of subdivide.

You can do it also with the SuSolid plugin that has a "close holes" tool.
On the picture you can see how it closes a very complex hole.

the issue is not closing a gap, that can be done using SU's native tools. the thing to have is a hybrid between TIG's "extrude" plugin and sopeskin bubble, if that makes any sense. πŸ˜‰

                    Hi jonorman,

You can also use Tgi3D SU Amorph's "Create Mesh" command. Simply select the border of the hole, very easy with Tgi3D's Select Tool; with just one [Ctrl+left mouse] click the entire border is selected. Then run "create mesh" command. Voila!

Incidently, we have been thinking of renewing previously expired 30 Day Trials for another 30-days. We have introduced many interesting features since the initial release of Tgi3D SU Amorph and PhotoScan, therefore we would like the folks, who showed an interest in our products earlier, to have another chance to take a look at Tgi3D SU plugins with the new and improved features. It should not be too long before we announce this.
