    PDF visibility within group or component

      Anyway to control PDF visibilty? When editing a group or component the image on the PDF disappears and cant be traced.
      Anyone experiencing same problem?

        Copy the Image and explode it so it becomes a face with the image applied as a textured material. throw away what's not wanted after tracing...

        PS: How are you importing PDF Images? That's a MAC only format and you are down as having XP πŸ˜•

          Hello Tig,

          I should be clear it was initially a PDF turned to a jpg. I was helping someone elses and this came up.
          The image was exploded and grouped inorder to use the measure tool. I remember having this occur before as well and just accepted this to be the case. The image is used as a reference to trace over and measure to while building the model.
          No big deal, just was curious as to why this was happening.

            An Image is just like another group or instance so as it's no part of the current context it is shown without textures/image...
