Vray question: glass reflection
-
hi everyone, i'm pretty new using v-ray for sketchup and i'm having a small trouble with. i'm making a render of an exterior and i'd like the front windows of the facade to reflect a jpeg picture of other buildings that are in front (picture that i need to import in sketchup or instead just give as bitmap in the glass material's reflection properties?) . how can i do? i attach a jpeg of the render i got so far!
thanks for your help! -
Easiest way would be to place the image in your model and let the glass reflect it. There is a tutorial somewhere that explains this technique.

thank you! i thought so, but:
- to import the picture: in sk, file > import or instead apply the image as a texture to a solid?
- to make the glass reflect the picture, which properties of the reflection layer of the glass mateial need to be changed and how? i tried chosing the picture as the bitmap to reflect, but it doesn't work.
any idea where i can find that tutorial, 'cause i'm looking for a good one for some time and i can't find it. thank you, hope not to bother too much with a-too-easy-to-solve problem!

I couldn't find that tutorial I was thinking of but here is one that's a bit of a 'cheat'. http://www.sketchupartists.org/tutorials/sketchup-and-v-ray/glass-reflection-effect-sketchup-and-v-ray/
