      Hello,

I was trying some weird stuff in which i was trying to render single line in SU & KT , but i cant see it in render.. why??
do we have to make it renderable for the render engine or some other option available for that?? like we can make spline renderable to the render engine in 3ds max..

      Please help..

      Thanks,
      Mandar Karve

You can use a plugin such as this to make your line into a face (just do a very small offset, 0.5mm for example so it still reads as a line from far away)

        or this one: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=12354

This way you can create planes since lines are typically hidden in render engines (they have no faces to reflect light)

I would use pipe along pathhttp://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?t=1709 and give the line a very small outer dia and 0 inner dia. Then apply a dark gray or black material to it. The other way would be to mess around with a toon material, but you still need a face of some sort to apply the texture to.
