Model doesn't load with Sketchup Vray

Hi guys,
I've got a big problem when loading up sketchup models when Vray is installed.
I was working on a model yesterday and did a few renders, today it crashes sketchup everytime I try to load it. However the file loads fine on a another machine without Vray.
I have also had this problem with previous files I had to go back to one of my back ups and work from there.
I have also noticed the loading time of a file is considerably longer (sometimes up to 1 min) when loading up a sketchup model with Vray installed. In another machine without Vray it takes about 5 seconds.
The model itself is not that big, only about 45MB.
Anyone has any ideas?
Sketchup Version is 8.08.4810
Vray for Sketchup Mac 1.49.01Operating System Mac OS X 10.6.7
Memory 4GB
