Well I have decided to figure out Layout 3. However, I am also looking for a printed manual, or a PDF manual that I can read anywhere instead of having to be next to a computer. Please don't tell me the only manual is the online manual.

      Thanks in Advance

Boy, I think Layout tutorials are scarce, but there is this book by Bonnie Roskes, and a PDF version here...not free, and I haven't read it, but she generally gets good reviews on her books.

I did a Google search and this book did not turn up. Exactly what I wanted. A little pricey, but looks good from what I can see on the web site.

          Thank you for your help

            No problem 👍

I follow her blog and remember her post when she published it - in fact, whenever I come across a sketchup related site that I like, I subscribe to it in Google Reader - its great for reference later.

Ken - mate there isn't much to learn! I'd suggest open a file drag in a model and play, give yourself half an hour and you'll be an expert. Seriously it is so simple!

Well I have done just that. However, the program seem to bog down so I knew I must not have all the info I needed. I did buy the book. Only problem I had with the book is it is a protected PDF and will only open with the supplied viewer. Which makes it a pain to have printed. Went though a lot of paper and ink to get a copy printed. I have a program that will print a file as a booklet. It save papers and space. However I couldn't use the program.

As for Layout 3, still haven't got the hang of making a set of good drawings. Still using TurboCAD 18 Deluxe to make fabrication drawings. Maybe Layout 4 will be the winner. When I finish the present project I will give Layout 3 another try.

As and example of the problem I am having, right now I am making a 20 page TurboCAD drawing package. I have never been able to get more that 3 to 4 pages into Layout 3 without having very slow response.

To everyone thanks for your replies.

Ken, I regularly make packages of 8 and more pages in LO with no problems. What sort of problem do you have when you go beyond 3 pages?

The program becomes very slow. I believe it is me not knowing all that I should about layout 3. I just finish my present project so I will be trying out Layout 3 again. I am going to give it another try starting tomorrow using the project I just finished.

What I would like to see if possible are some presentations made with Layout 3, something I could download and see how the file prints. I know that may be impossible. I know it is a lot of work to get my Sketchup files into TurboCAD and would really like to be able to use Layout 3.
