Welcome.
There are many kinds of add-ons - it depends what it is you need...
I suggest you get familiar with the native tools and then think about scripts etc to help when you want to do stuff that'd be a chore [or maybe seems impossible!] manually...If you have a specific problem or requirement post a message with a clear title and explanation of what's up...

Hi Brett, hi folks.
Welcome from another engineer.
I also use the Engineering Toolbox a lot.
You may also try 3skeng. Their site is at:
http://www.3skeng.com/en/index.htm
Like they write, this is a conceptual tool since fittings are not exacts. For example, a 45° elbow will be similar to a 90° elbow cut in two, which is not exact. Tees can have any length while real tees have finite dimensions. The same goes for reducers.
That put aside, their system is amazing to use and allow you to sketch a whole layout in very little time. Combined with fittings obtained from the Engineering Tool Box and a few valves and equipements from the 3D warehouse and some other sites like Traceparts, you can produce relatively complex layout in such a short time that it may baffle your colleagues.
Just ideas.
