You in the states?
Yeah man my girlfriend is American she is dragging me (with no objection) to homecoming at KU University in October apparently its just a big beer up, only down side we have to go to an '?! American Football?!' match, sort of a fake rugby where everyone wheres a lot of pads and stops and starts every 30 seconds, heard of it?

Yeah will be a good few months off now but its an essential purchase I think after seeing what can be done with it, will be good to incorporate by digital paining into raw renders also!
-
A southern girl, you lucky bastard, I got me one also, from Alabama.
Have fun, homecoming's are a great piss up, loads of fun (if I remember right)
You will get into football if or when you live here, took me a few years of bitching, teasing and mocking the game until I got into it, not a NFL fan, but do enjoy college ball.

Nah she is from Mid west not far from Colorado but she studied in KU, yeah piss up is the name of the game apparently, looking forward to it, was going to bring her over for 4th July to Boston but could not get the time off work, I think homecoming will be an equal opportunity for beer haha.

Does this plane can fly in the two ways?
Front face is not evident! -
Great model - lean and mean. I would love to take her for a spin sometime. Looking forward to those Vue renders!

Front face is not evident!Ha I see what you mean hadn't noticed that before! No it only flies one way but it would be cool to make a version going backwards with a few tweaks

Very cool.

Very nice.

Here is a quick test from the front showing the landing gear arrangement.

Seems a killer one!
Used for the spreading of GM crops! -
meeoooowwwmmmmm!
Celebrating a monitor I found in the recycling bin with a new render. Its just raw with stock materials so nothing special although its 7000*5000px so I can PP with it in PS later.

Textured or PS overlays?
Killer model

Here is the straight Thea. All of the decals except from the sharks teeth are SU.
Really pleased with the illustration on the previous page think its one of my favourites.
This is only a prelim - I am working on (will be working on...) a 8000*4000px 300dpi version. I still need to perfect materials and lighting in THEA. Right now its all just stock.
-
Finished...ish
-
Still working on the materials, going to start putting the decals on the actual model so I dont have to do it it PP.
-
I was going to do a scene but I should probably concentrate on the mats/light for the mode before I rush ahead.
-
Last one before I go to bed. Left this on before I went to the pub...took 5 hours in Thea.
Each one is 6000*4000px so I can PP later. Need to work on the materials and lighting more but a lot better than when I started this model in 2010 (it really does take me that long to get anything done).
Has so much fun doing this at the weekend sad to going back to non-3D day job .......one day!

looking great liam, its just dying for an afternoon shot in that hangar.
