I have a question that would greatly help me communicate models to my bosses. I model on a nice wide screen monitor, but oft times when we are setting views for renders, I have to show him what it would be like in a 4:3 ratio while we manipulate viewpoints etc etc. because that is how it will be displayed a powerpoint display or in a book of printed material. It seems to me there was a way to do this (to impose a screen frame) on the monitor to show how this would look. Is that the camera Stage plugin? I have never used this tool, but it was asked for today. . and it's always lousy to tell a boss. .. "I don't know how to do that. . ."

If I make it look easy...It is probably easy

Csaba uses some free utility to set this. Sizer I think? But it could be one of those frequent occasions where I'm wrong!

But as Marcus says F&S does the trick also.

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp ๐Ÿ“–
