      What's happened here? The .skp has gone predominately white, this happens when I have more than one file open and move between the files quickly.

      It is solved by quitting sketchup or changing the styles settings. Any ideas. . .

        I've not seen that before but I would guess it is graphics card related. What are the materials that disappear? Are they large (hi res) images?

          That's interesting Dave as all the materials that went white were textures rather than block colour.

            Were they high res textures? What happens if you paint on some of the textures included with SketchUp just as a test? Will they still disappear?
