    Hi all,

I'm new to SketchUp. I'm trying to create a solid "cylinder" that is a circle at one end and an ellipse at the other. The circle and elipse are parallel and centered relative to each other. I thought this would be simple but can't figure out how to do it.

      Hi Russ,

Just create a standard cylinder and select the face you want to transform and use the Scale tool to make elliptical.

        Hi Rich,

Well don't I just feel like an idiot. 😳 I got all hung up on doing some sort of "follow me" I didn't see the obvious. Thanks so much for your quick response.
