        Something like this: http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=335&t=34736 ?
No buttons however, but adding them would be the easy part 😄
Note that SDS ( now Artisan ) is not free, but it´s worth buying in any case.
A limited, although free version of a subdivision plugin for Google SketchUp can be found here: http://www.smustard.com/script/Subdivide

            HI,
Numthumb has described it very simply as "how to get the buttons in a Chesterfield sofa".

              Hi,
You can replace a button on a chesterfield sofa by removing the old button-through pulling. Discard it and make a knot of twine on a metal pin. Adjust it on the twine needle and insert it into the sofa. Rotate counterclockwise and remove the twine needle. Install the new button and make knots.
