Engraving a Ring

Diameter of the ring is 26.4 cm. It is 1:10...

Scale the ring up by 10 then if the solid tools/drape works you scale back down 0.1

Welcome to the forum, DeteZvezda!
It may work better to engrave first on flat profile of the ring, then bend the ring into an arc using Shape Bender. One limitation of Shape bender is it cannot bend into a complete circle, so you'll have to do it in two steps. I have done an example for you, see below...

Thanks d12dozr, I tray it, and it work pretty well. However, it has a aproblem to stay solid, and joint push/pull is not the best on a complex surfaces. But I am not giveing up ...

Yes, complex surfaces are difficult to keep solid...lucky for us, Thomthom made a solution: Solid Inspector And of course, make sure you are modeling at a larger-than-life scale like Rich suggested above
Are you 3D printing the ring?
