Camera Management for Interior of Model
-
I pretty much have the outside done and want to start modeling the interior of the building I'm working on. What is the best way to manage the camera view in this case? I tried to zoom into the building but I get lost in the walls and end up zooming out.

- Use the section tool to "cut" away a portion of the model so you can see inside,
- When you get your camera to a good view inside the model, save a scene so that you can instantly bring back that view if you get lost.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for that. I also learned that I can use the walk through button (the little foot steps) to get better control.
BTW your signature is spoken like a true artist.

That's a good tip too

I couldn't agree more! The quote is from one of the top artists in the industry, made during an interview by Ronen Bekerman - the link in my signature will take you to the entire interview if you want to read it and see some of his company's images.
I hope to be half the artist he is one day, but I have a ways to go yet!

I read that interview the other day, and I couldn't agree more: very inspiring work.

Once inside you can use the tool with the Eyes to "Look Around" while the camera stays in place. You just click and drag to look around.
