Set depth of wood
-
I have a low polygon 3D model the I want to break apart into flat triangles and cut out of wood.
Is there a way/plugin to set the depth of the wood and that automatically calculates the angle at the edges where two polys meet?
E.g. if i wanted to make a cube out of 2CM thick wood it would calculate the edge angle at 45 Degrees.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If you get 'JointPushPull' and have a go at tweaking its settings ['borders' etc] you can get this effect
It doesn't separate the angled pieces... but at least you get all of the required faces you need to group them together later...

That's great. Thanks Tig.
