OBJ file manipulator = ?
-
Hi guys,
I am exporting my Sketchup models into .OBJ and .MTL files. I don't have any way to manipulate where the associated textures are stored, and what their filename is. For instance: sometimes, I want to use one texture for two different models, but Sketchup imports them into separate directories.
Does anyone know of a good program that lets me manipulate this header info? Thanks!

The OBJ file says which 'object' get which material - open it in Notepad [osa] to read it...
Open the MTL file and you will see the material name. color and file paths & folder name to the their textures [if any]...
You can edit these and the specified files will be used instead....... -
Thanks!
