[SDS2] Rigging organic models

Disclosure: I'm alpha testing SDS2 (subdivide and smooth), I am not being financially compensated for exposing the software, This is not an advert for a commercial product, this is a solution and a tutorial for a niche group of folks that model organics and have had a problem rigging with SU.
The scenario: You have a model of a character but the pose is just wrong, you need to move an arm, leg, twist the abdomen or head but this is Sketchup and it's virtually impossible as the mesh will distort and it will require you to erase parts and stitch them together in order to make it look right after you altered the position of body part.
Solution: The new SDS2 plugin that will be available soon (not sure of date) has a bunch of new features, the most exciting is the range of sculpting tools that works like Z-brush lite, however these tools are tailored for SU and have a cool smoothing tool that can relax a mesh, so once you have moved your mesh and noticed it's all messed up around the pivot area, don't dispair, the fix is quick and easy now.

Solo, thanks for the demo. How about a tut on building a basic form to SDS with. Or is that mostly by feel?

I (perhaps other beginners) would have problems getting to a shape like the "proxy head". I am under the impression that the basic form is typically a set of rectangular "solids", that SDS molds into the final shape. I was wondering if there are any rules of thumb that help to decide what that basic rectangular shape should be.

Tell you what, around the time SDS2 is released I'll put together a basic tutorial on creating proxy's, and creating basic forms for subdivision and sculpting.

I've had SDS1 for a long time now, and did not do much with it until I saw what you were doing with proxy's. So now I'm really appreciating this plugin, and looking forward to the new version.

What's the stats for that model? Looks like it's pushing a lot of geometry rather quickly.

According to his blog and FB page, SDS2 will transform the landscape of organic modelling within SU. Incorporating features from Zbrush and Blender, im really excited.

Although I can't say that I'm an "organic modeller", I will defenitely purchase/upgrade, cause I can see lots of improvements and enhancements...
So who knows... Perhaps I'm going to be an "organic modeller" in the future...Any news about the price for this plug-in...??
Will there be an option to upgrade from the current SDS...?? -

His already talking about SDS3 so SDS might become a yearly release. If that becomes the case, I would say a range from 19 to 39 with previous
versions going for free or dirt cheap prices.SDS2 must be the most highly anticipated SU plugin release of 2011. If any had to hap hazard a guess, how many SDS1 were sold?
