    Hi people.

For school I'm rendering a basic interior. Although I've rendered a few scenes with vray and sketchup, this is my first one with more lights than the GI. I put in quite a few rectangular lights to function as TL-beams. I gave them 750 lumens each. So far so good. I render with a physical camera with a shutter speed of 1/40 and 400 ISO.
although this is not my final idea of the light, I've got a problem already. the lights are shown, but they are moved 4 meters to the left or so as compared to my sketchup model.
I'm only test rendering now with light cache as primary and secondary engine. could that be the problem?
I also put in an image of the rendering and one of the model to show you the difference in the placing of the lights?
If someone could help me with this problem, it would be very pleased!!!!

    Thanks,
    Smurk

    BTW: VRAY version = 1.48.96

the render with the placement of the lights
The sketchup model. here the lights are much more to the right.

Have you by any chance moved the lights by opening the light-group and moving the face inside instead of moving just the group?

òk it seems that was the problem. Or, at least. I removed all the lights and put all new ones in and everything seemed fine. Thanx for the tip.
But now, when i'm rendering, it gives black beams where my lights are, whether i'm reversing the faces or not... and the sun through my windows doesn't leave the bright area's on the floor I would like. it doesn't leave any marks on the floor at all actually.

Ah well, i guess it was stupid to try this out while having a deadline.
