Hi guys, I'm pretty new here, but not super new to Sketchup.

I'm trying to make some railing. I have one piece laying flat on the ground while the other piece is rotated 90 degreees so that it makes an L shape. I am wondering how to make a diangol piece between the two so it looks like something is connecting them.

I think I came up with a way to do it by just drawing lines from one to the other, but it gets kind of messy and I want to export the geometry into something else.

I've attached an image so you can get what I mean. ...sorry its' not laying on the ground, but you still get the idea.

How would I make this shape? thanks.
