is also compatible for sketch up 8, the bonus pack for that sketch up 6?

The v8 specific materials bonus pack is NOT yet available but the earlier versions 6/7 are compatible - just ensure they install into the correct Materials folder for v8...

I just looked here again, and now they have a rabbit trail leading to the 3D warehouse, and an explanation of how to save a warehouse collection to your hard drive.
