      He remodeled the roof of a church that i had made some time before.
      By the way I've changed some parts of the design.

        Better not, its too expensive. For your needs here, blender, or 3DCoat (this last one became the leader to all these apps)
        Now, how did you modeled this fine paving thing? Using push-pull tool? If yes, then can you realize how many faces are there? The VG industry bakes normal maps for this. You can still export a obj mesh to 3DCoat or other app and bake a normal map to a single face. The use of a displacement map is not good as it forces the renderer to do the subdivision, too many faces again.

          Before, I used displacement maps but I'm not worth the time it takes to render.
          Although i have to work more, I prefer to model everything; is more relaxing.
          I have to try someday normal maps. For now ...

                          My tree brought you some trouble, sorry, here a link to download 4 pngs without antialiasing, true cut outs. And you may use all of theme as its the same 3d tree from different angles
