My I start by apologising for asking what many of you will probably think is a very basic question...

I am new to the world of Sketchup, and despite watching tutorials on youtube, and the basic ones with Sketchup, I am unable to find the answer to my question.

The question is, when I create a rectangle, square, or in fact any closed object, I am unable to add colour or a material to the object. In every tutorial I have seen, the moment the object is created, it creates a solid object, yet mine remains transparent, even when I use the raise up tool... 😳

I appreciate it is probably in the settings somewhere, but having searched for two days now, I am unable to find it...

      Your help would be appreciated...

      Many thanks...

        Check your 'Style'.
It might be set to display only edges or MonoChrome...
