There is any APP at this point that work as a viewer for sketchup files?...Did someone hire that Google is working on a APP for viewer sketchup files in IPAD?....Any news would be great!

      Thanks.

PS. As a marketing person I think would be grat punch to show clients sketchup jobs in IPAD. and also a money maker....

I presume you have checked out Navicad?

I will be interested in your thoughts. We are considering a similar application which would let you make minor changes - such as changing a color or texture.

Also, has anyone checked to see if 3D adobe files (such as those from RPS 3D PDF) work on the iPad?

We're you able to use the Rhino iPad add without having to load the exported model into Rhino (or own Rhino?)

              I supose yes, it's just a viewer 😉
Problem: you must have a "3dm file", so find a converter if you have not Rhino 😉

So this can be another possibility for see Sketchup model
Problem you must send your file "online" (but is that a problem if you have an Internet connection) 😒

Unlike other 3D model viewers, 3DVIA Mobile HD allows users of most 3D modeling software packages to connect to 3DVIA.com and share their work on the iPad platform. Users follow a simple three-step process: create a free 3DVIA.com account, upload 3D assets to the site, then connect with 3DVIA Mobile HD to showcase assets on the iPad. 3DVIA.com accepts content in over 30 formats, including 3DXML, .dae (COLLADA), .3ds, .obj, IGES, STEP and .kmz. Select modeling applications from Dassault Systèmes, including 3DVIA Composer, SolidWorks and CATIA, now publish directly to 3DVIA.com, making the process even easier.

I wish one of the people of Google can explain why not?...Or why take so long to make a viewer for 3d models. Just because Ipad is from APPLE and google is fight in the phone area, for all the people that use Sketchup it would be great to have an app to view drawings only.

                Thanks.

You can get Rhino for OS X for free right now because it's in beta. So now you have a way to get your SketchUp models onto the iPad, if you have a Mac 😄

I have 3DVia on my iPad which allows you to upload your models online and then view them in 3D right on the iPad. It works really well!
